The Best Craft Beer Delivery from Singaporean Labels

With International Beer Day around the corner (7th August 2020), what better way to celebrate than cracking open a few bottles and chilling with your friends and family! However, with phase 2 restrictions in place currently, no alcohol can be served after 10.30pm. As such, choose to have your party at home instead with our top picks of craft beer delivery services from our favourite home grown Singaporean breweries. Nonetheless, do ensure that you adhere to the government guidelines of not more than 5 guests in your home.

1. Brewerkz Microbrewery

As one of the pioneers in the Singapore microbrewery scene, Brewerkz has expanded from what was once a brewpub to the bar-restaurant we see today. Its name is also commonly seen as a caterer for many large-scale outdoor events, making Brewerkz a must-have on our list. More recently, the company has introduced their latest craft beer – Circuit Breaker, in commemoration of the pandemic of 2020.

2. Brewlander & Co

Brewlander & Co is one of the first names that come to mind when anyone mentions craft beers in Singapore. The company is Singapore’s first brewery which brews their beers by borrowing facilities from a separate brewery and they offer a plethora of bottled beers such as Love Wild IPA and Joy Session IPA. Although Brewlander & Co may not have their own bar, you can find their bottles at multiple craft beer bars and distributors.

3. Good Luck Beerhouse

A landmark adorning the shophouses on Haji Lane, Good Luck Beerhouse has recently launched their e-store which offers a wide selection of locally-made beers from labels such as Rye & Pint and That Singapore Beer Project. The former boasts their signature Maneki-neko label and offers beers such as pilsner, pale ale and wheat ale. We definitely recommend trying the Punchin’ Rye Pale Ale which has balanced fruity notes. The latter offers unique yet familiar flavours such as Kopi O Nanyang Stout which is reminiscent of Singaporean coffee. Their bottles are also uniquely identifiable as they use Singaporean motifs as labels.

4. Lion Brewery Co

Although Lion Brewery Co was not founded on our shores, it was brought back to life right here in 2018 after the brewery was demolished over 70 years ago in London. Their bottles can be found at many popular bars such as Atlas and OverEasy and their flagship Straits Pale Ale is certainly one to remember for a refreshing pint.

Since 2014, The 1925 Brewing Co has been brewing and serving craft brews in Singapore. Our top pick would be their signature Blk 622 Dark Ale which features double malted barley with hints of caramel. The bar also offers local delicacies such as Traditional Teochew Fish Porridge so do make sure to stop by and taste the unique pairing.
